The studio is the one place I feel completely at home.
When I’m in there, everything quiets down. I feel safe, grounded, and connected, like I’m plugged into something bigger than myself. It’s not just a workspace. It’s where I feel most real.
Outside the studio, life hits fast. Responsibilities, noise, distractions, all the things that pull me away from that deep sense of clarity. But when I’m painting, I’m back in alignment. The brush in my hand helps me make sense of things I can’t put into words.
This isn’t about making something pretty. It’s about processing life. About showing up honestly. Right now, the work I’m creating feels raw, real, and alive because that’s where I am.
If you’ve got a space like that, protect it. And if you don’t, maybe it’s time to find one.
