A weathered truck stands alone in the open plains — chipped, rusted, and still unmistakably alive.
Bare Metal Soul is an original acrylic painting that honors what time does to all of us: it wears us down to what’s real, and somehow, that’s where the beauty gets louder.

Inspired by the reflection:

“Over time, we are worn to the bare metal of our souls.”

Layered, vivid color and textured brushwork bring this aging truck forward like a portrait. Every scuff, rust mark, and faded panel feels less like damage and more like evidence: of miles driven, storms survived, stories collected.

This piece is for anyone who’s done pretending “perfect” is the goal — and is ready to let their history be seen, not covered.
