Washington Coastline
This painting was inspired by a trip to the northwest coast of Washington State with two of my sisters. We each took hundreds of photos, but it was the feeling of standing there — wind whipping, salt in the air, the vast Pacific stretching out, that stayed with me. In that moment, I felt deeply connected to the ocean’s power, its quiet strength, and its gentle, cleansing presence. This piece is a tribute to that memory and the awe of nature’s embrace.
