“Snow Day” A print of an Acrylic painting on canvas, inspired by Winter, Snow, Urban Scene, Peaceful, Serene. A snow day came early this fall right after Thanksgiving. We woke up to a bright white glistening landscape. The street was quiet, and the trees were covered with snow. As I looked out, it reminded me that even the earth needs time to reflect and prepare for the next spring. This open edition matted Giclée print is available in two sizes, ready to frame.
Like most of my work, this piece began with loose marks and a sense of curiosity. I built the scene with layers of acrylic, stepping back often to see how the colors were talking to each other. The final result balances structure and spontaneity — a mix of impressionism, emotion, and a little bit of rebellion against keeping things too perfect.
